The Most Honest Line Ever To Appear in a New York Times Editorial?

"This page normally has little patience for people who gripe about paying taxes." -- from today's lede editorial on the Alternative Minimum Tax.

Actually, it's still less than totally honest. The page always has little patience for those who gripe about paying taxes. One proffered "fix" of the AMT, for example, is a repeal of the Bush tax cuts.
